RH Peterson Co. is a manufacturer of outdoor grills, gas firepits, and premium gas log sets. They are a premium brand, and if you or one of your friends have a RH Peterson grill in your backyard, you know what a great product they make.


My team was retained to develop a new brand identity for two of the RH Peterson brands: Fire Magic and RealFyre. In addition to creating new logos for both brands, we created a marketing concept as well—The Magic Hour—along with the tagline, “Savor the Moment” and new Magic Hour lifestyle images within their print and other media. We renamed some of their grills to elevate their appeal—the Aurora and the Echelon. You could say that we fanned the flame of Fire Magic’s brand to burn brighter than the competition—taking it right out of the line of ordinary grill makers, putting it atop the list of the most sought after, elite quality grills in the marketplace.

This brand refresh included everything from new logos and brand position lines, product displays, and catalogs. I managed designers, writers, photographers and production teams as well as ensuring that budgets and schedules were met. Of course, I ended up with a Fire Magic grill and my wife and son have been forever grateful ever since.
